Veterinarian
Amerie Cavasos graduated from Kansas State University in 2013, and is an associate veterinarian at Coal Mine Animal Hospital. She first wanted to be a vet at 5 years old while working with her aunt, who was a tech at a vet clinic. After initially pursuing a career in forensic Anthropology, she decided to "follow her gut," return to her childhood dream, and go to vet school. She is certain she made the right decision. She is fear-free certified. She has 3 dogs: a beagle, Huckleberry, a pug/heeler mix, Cricket, and a heeler/border collie mix, Lycan.
